The history of Porto Seco Sul de Minas began about 50 years ago, with the provision of storage and handling services for general cargo. We were the first Interior Customs Station to start operating in Brazil, about 30 years ago. The company has modern infrastructure, experienced professionals and cutting-edge technology to guarantee security, control and agility in the operations of its partners.
Porto Seco has a license to operate as a Customs Logistic and Industrial Center (CLIA) and has a complete structure to store and move general and chemical cargo, in addition to those subject to MAPA and Anvisa’s consent. The administrative offices of the Ministry of Agriculture, Anvisa and the Federal and State Revenue Office are installed on site.
CLIA is inside a strategically located Industrial and Logistics Condominium, which has AAA warehouses ready for lease, areas for the construction of industries or distribution centers and various types of services to provide operational synergies, strategic solutions and logistical gains with cost reduction, increasing the efficiency of companies installed in Porto Seco.
The condominium, located in the city of Varginha, in the south of Minas Gerais, was designed to act as a multimodal logistics hub, located less than 400 km from the main airports and seaports in Brazil and from the cities of São Paulo, Belo Horizonte and Rio de Janeiro. In addition, the enterprise is next to the municipal airport, with a 2.100-meter-long runway, which is served by regular passenger and cargo flights.
