INOVATION
We seek in innovation the way to a better future
Innovation is one of the priorities of Porto Seco Sul de Minas, after all, that’s the route to an increasingly promising future. In order to absorb the best practices in agile methodologies and to internalize the culture of innovation in our company, we reorganized ourselves internally and externally. And that’s why we formed our Innovation Team and are part of Cesul Lab.

SOUTH OF MINAS RAILWAY PROJECT
Objective: to connect Porto Seco Sul de Minas to the railway modal, for better access to ports and greater regional integration.
Future: We carry out tests on the region’s railways, seeking, in the near future, to establish ourselves as one of the largest Brazilian logistics hubs connected to a shortline.
Main advantages: short/medium implementation period; use of existing railroad and structure; reduction of logistical costs; great potential for regional and international cargo handling; improvement of logistical operations in cooperation with trunk lines; more security and energy efficiency; less environmental impact.
Details: project included in the Minas Gerais Strategic Railway Plan (PEF); feasibility study by Don Cabral Foundation, State Secretariat for Infrastructure and Mobility (Seinfra-MG) and Association of Rail Transport Technicians (ANTF), which ranked projects according to criteria.
